Closed-cell spray foam insulation
One of the most effective insulation materials available on the market. The new generation of closed-cell spray foam insulation – EXY 34 HFO is perfect for when an air and steam barrier is required. From a layer thickness of 5 cm, it even acts as a vapour barrier. The medium-hard foam significantly strengthens the building structure, and does not require any mechanical anchoring. By targeted application of the foam, EXY 34 HFO even insulates hard-to-reach places.

EXY: For a better feeling inside
Special features:The foam density of a closed-cell structure averages around 35-40 kg/m³. The closed-cell foam EXY 34 HFO contains the latest generation of a propellant called “Solstice”. This propellant is enclosed in the cells and provides the highly effective insulating properties of the material. The polyurethane foam stands out in particular due to its robustness and strength as well as by its high R-value. Studies show that the load-bearing capacity of a wall can be doubled or even tripled by using closed-cell foam.
Easy to work with: As with EXY 09, EXY 34 HFO is applied as a liquid. The foam adheres directly to the surface and forms a continuous and permanent cover, even in corners. The insulation foam forms a perfect, solid layer without joints and mechanical anchoring. By expanding to 50 times its liquid volume, EXY 34 HFO even fills hidden cavities with ease.
Areas of application: The closed cell structure of Exy 34 HFO provides highly efficient thermal insulation, an air barrier as well as special properties. This makes the foam the ideal insulation in dry areas of application.
Sealing and vapour barrier
:EXY 34 HFO seals all cracks and joints and creates an air and vapour barrier that is preserved throughout the life of the building. With a continuous, airtight seal, the insulation prevents air, dust and other external contaminants from entering the building.
Certified and environmentally friendly: EXY 34 HFO is fully certified. The spray foam fulfils all requirements of the current building laws – including emissions requirements. The spray foam insulation does not decompose and does not degrade. Great importance has been placed on environmental sustainability during development. The product is free of substances such as CFCs, HCFCs, formaldehyde and other substances harmful to health and the environment.
